The SOLAR LANTERNs offered by SILICO ENERGY SYSTEMS is like a traditional lantern which gives omni-directional pure light. It is a portable lighting system consisting of a 7W CFL, sealed maintenance free (SMF) battery, associated electronics and a Solar PV module. (typically 10Wp). The solar energy is converted to electrical energy by the PV module and stored in a sealed maintenance-free battery for use during the night hours. A single charge can operate the lamp for about 3-4 hours. The solar powered lantern manufactured by us is highly efficient. Its advanced electronics controller protects battery from over charging and deep discharging. CFL filament pre-heating circuitry inbuilt for cold starts and longer CFL life
